Glass Repair
We
provide a service repairing antique and collectible glass. We specialize
in the recutting and restoration of American Brilliant Cut Glass, using
stone wheels, copper wheels and state of the art modern diamond wheel
cutting.
We repair rim chips from goblets
to chargers. We take the extra time and roll the edges inside and out,
giving your item a quality, just made appearance. We use an optically
clear polishing process, unequaled in the profession.
We also repair Galle, Lalique, Verlys, and many other types of art glass.
We can duplicate the finish on these types of items.
We also mend glass and
crystal using permanent crystal clear adhesives. We can replace daubers
on the ends of perfume stoppers.
We make internal stoppers for lay-down perfume bottles. We seat stoppers
in decanters and bottles, from large to small. We repair collars of
bottles and recut figural and geometric perfume bottle stoppers. We
can replace damaged stopper ends.
The list is endless of what we can repair, unlimited by imagination,
but sometimes limited by technology. We can't perform miracles, but
in most cases we come close!

A High Praise
I have so many happy memories of Heather and I doing antiques together. We both came from the hi tech world which gave us both experience of working with major companies. We started our perfume bottle business with I. Magnin. But Heather and I both saw the potential of spreading it to Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and the stores in Canada. We even had a plan to take our business to Harrod's in London. We were very defensive in talking about what we were doing as we feared competition from other dealers. In retrospect that was very naive! I can now see that Heather and I were unique. (More...)
