Some of the equipment we recommend for the basic shop are listed below. There are small tools needed that we can not list, but a list will be provided upon enrollment into the course.

-6 station grinding and polishing machine
-2 station non-shielded cutting and polisher
-2 station variable speed engraving and polishing machine
-10 inch diamond mini flat lap machine
- single speed 16 inch flat lap
- handheld motor and diamond heads

Tools for a basic shop as listed above will cost about $10,000. This would be brand new state of the art equipment. For used equipment, modified to fit our purpose, starts at $2,000.
